Tangerang, June 29, 2026 — PT Multi Nice Paper Indonesia (MNPI) held the soft opening of its manufacturing facility in Tangerang, Banten, on June 29, 2026. Just one day after the initial inauguration, the facility operated by MNPI immediately received OEM manufacturing (maklon) orders from several domestic companies.
The incoming orders at the early operational stage are a positive signal of the high demand from the industry for high-standard hygiene product manufacturing facilities in Indonesia. As a joint venture between PT Multi Medika Internasional Tbk (MMIX) and Fujian Nice Paper Co., Ltd., MNPI is focused not only on producing the company’s own brands but also on serving as a manufacturing partner for various national brand owners.
“Since the beginning of construction, we have designed this facility as both a production base and a manufacturing service hub for business partners. Demand for OEM manufacturing services in the hygiene category continues to grow, and we are ready to meet high quality standards. The trust we have received since the start of operations is a strong foundation for the development of MNPI’s manufacturing business,” said an MNPI representative.
The MNPI production facility is built on approximately one hectare of land and equipped with high-tech production lines capable of producing around 900 diapers per minute. At full development, the facility is designed to accommodate up to 10 production lines, with a potential production capacity of around 1.8 billion diapers per year.
In addition to baby diapers as the initial focus, MNPI is also preparing to produce various other hygiene categories, such as adult diapers and feminine pads. Expanding these categories is expected to broaden OEM manufacturing services while strengthening MNPI’s position as one of the most competitive hygiene product manufacturing facilities in Indonesia.
“The OEM orders received since the early stage are expected to increase plant utilization while opening a new revenue stream beyond branded product sales. We believe this business model will accelerate economies of scale, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen long-term profitability,” the MNPI representative added.
Going forward, the MNPI factory will serve as the main production base for various personal care brands while supporting expansion in the Mom and Baby Care category. With the manufacturing facility now operational and OEM orders coming in from the outset, MNPI is optimistic that its transformation into an integrated hygiene product manufacturer will further strengthen competitiveness and open sustainable business growth opportunities.
